Our principal funding orientation focuses upon three broad areas of Transgender Community activity: Human Rights, Public Education and Outreach, and Support.
Contributions to our General Fund go toward providing financial assistance for Grant requests received during the year that address one or more of these three areas.
In addition, what makes The Transgender Fund unique are the Select Initiatives that are listed here along with our General Fund. Select Initiatives are projects for which we wanted to provide a particular emphasis; and give you an opportunity to send your contribution directly to one or more of them.
All contributions not indicated for a specific Select Initiative will be allocated to our General Fund.
The General Fund While the TG Fund's unique Select Initiatives approach gives you a number of options with respect to making your donation most meaningful to you, our General Fund is the financial foundation for both current and future philanthropy.
Transgender Collaborative Conference Aimed at benefiting all transgender and gender variant people, the Transgender Collaborative Conference takes place annually.
TransYouth Initiative The mission of The TGFund's TransYouth Initiative is to support qualified programs aiding understanding and acceptance among transgender youth, their families, and those around them.
